John McCormick Dr. John McCormick has been in clinical practice for 25 years. He founded the Dallas Bioenergetic Society. He continues to teach and supervise therapists and other professionals in the field of mind-body integration. Early in his career he trained as a hospital chaplain becoming accredited as a clinical chaplain and a teaching chaplain. He spent eight years on the staff of a private residential treatment facility for young adults where he also was clinical director.
