Healing from the Effects of a Sociopathic Relationship
Anyone who has been close to a sociopathic personality can attest to the fact that it takes a very long time to recover. If you are “fortunate” enough to know that you have been with a sociopathic personality, then you know it is extremely hard to recover because there is not much guidance and help in the recovery process.
This month’s teleconference call will cover the recovery process and what steps people have taken in their lives to heal from the trauma. The conference will be followed by Questions and Answers until all questions are answered.
This month’s speakers are Marion Trent, Dr. Kathie Mathis and Travis Vining, whose father sits on Florida’s Death Row for murder. See their bios below.
If you cannot make it to this very informative teleconference, you may pay the fee and receive the recorded conference via email link. Feel free to email Marion your questions prior to the teleconference if you can’t attend live and we will answer your question.
DATE: June 22, 2009
TIME: 6 PM Pacific Time (8 PM Central, 9 PM Eastern)
FEE: $25
Details to the teleconference will be sent via email once payment has been made. We hope you will join us!
Warm regards,

Marion Trent
During the breakup of her marriage, Ms. Trent was informed by a therapist that she was suffering from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and that she may have been married to a sociopath. It didn't quite sink in the moment she heard the assessment, but she immediately researched the term on the internet when she got home. As shocking as the information was, her life started to make perfect sense.
She began to research the healing process. How does one recover from a relationship that was an illusion to begin with? There was no such information available online. She set out to direct a documentary to educate others. During that process, she also established the first ever support group for victims of sociopathic relationships, a bulletin board with thousands of posts per month and a website. Ms. Trent responds to hundreds of emails and phone calls every month and has given support to hundreds of victims since 2001. Marion's own recovery processes have been successful and she gladly shares her journey with others.

Travis F. Vining
Travis has overcome many physical and emotional illnesses, including depression, paralyzing migraine headaches, crippling back pain, irritable bowel syndrome, anxiety, suppressed memories and an addiction to pain pills as a result of a tragic family environment that included being raised by a sociopath that is now on Florida’s death row. He was able to break the cycle and become a great father and husband to his family through forgiveness, love and absolute faith. He has now been blessed with the experience of helping others to recover from these same issues and devastating relationships with sociopaths, turning the liabilities of his childhood and early adult life into one of his greatest assets.
NOTE: If you would like to have Dr. Kathie Mathis and Marion Trent visit your city to teach a seminar about sociopathic relationships and how to recover from their damage, please fill out the form on the contact page.
